Learn
Temple B’nai Abraham is an energetic center of Jewish life in Livingston, drawing members from not only Livingston but Short Hills, West Orange, and neighboring communities. Our membership is multi-generational, dedicated to the synagogue, and committed to the social values and actions with which Temple B’nai Abraham has historically been associated.
Part of those values is the idea that learning never stops. Midrash teaches that one of our most influential scholars, Rabbi Akiva, started learning Torah at 40 and began teaching at age 80.
We offer an extensive adult education, music, and lecture program to members and the community. We are well known as a public forum, where political candidates and other public figures from across the spectrum educate our congregation and the community on issues of current concern.
We can't wait to see you at Lunch and Learn, on a Sunday afternoon for a conversation with a great mind, or on an evening with one of our clergy or lay leaders for an educational event or series.
