Shabbat Dinners with TBA's Rishonah
Have Shabbat Dinner with Dafna Munk, our Rishona
Each year the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest brings in a cohort of Rishonim, young Israelis taking a service gap year between high school and the IDF. They come to be Israel educators in our area, and TBA has been lucky to have amazing Rishonim teaching in our JLP.
Rishon means first, and Shishi means Friday. If you'd like to get to know this year's TBA Rishona (feminine ending of Rishon), Dafna Munk, please register here to host her for a Shabbat dinner. It doesn't have to be a formal dinner, casual works too - she just wants to get to know our TBA families.
Ask your kids if they've met Dafna - we bet they have, and that they'll be excited for her to come over and share about life in Israel at your home.
Also, we are looking for a host family for Dafna from later in January through May. You and your kids would make a friend for life! Contact Melissa Weiner with questions.
