You will get all of this in a hard copy in the mail as well. We look forward to seeing you in our updated sanctuary soon!

SEATING:

Some seats in the Ross Sanctuary are reserved as part of Temple building and capital fund efforts.
Nameplates designate the reserved seats; all other seats are available on a non-reserved basis. Reserved seats that are unoccupied are available after 11 AM.

PARKING:

Parking locations and information will be provided with your High Holy Day tickets.
Professional traffic directors have been engaged to expedite parking. Please follow their directions for your safety. 


LULAV AND ETROG:

Order your Lulav and Etrog sets through TBA this year! A set includes everything you need: Lulav, Myrtle, Willow, and Etrog, and instructions for simple assembly.
The price is $48 per set. Sets with be available for pick-up from TBA - You will be notified about pick-up dates/times and check payable info closer to Sukkot. Order deadline is Erev Rosh Hashanah (Sept. 15, 2023).

New this year are e-tickets. How will it work? You will receive your tickets by email. Each email will have a QR code to scan and a PDF of the ticket to print. Show your QR code via email or Apple Wallet on your device or bring a printout. Tickets will be emailed the week of September 5 to members in good standing.

Adult children: All children through age 29 will be issued tickets automatically, and the tickets will be e-mailed with family membership tickets. Tickets for adult children who are 30+ can be purchased here.

Good standing: Good standing means that Dues and Building Fund are paid in full by August 31. Members with approved payment arrangements must be current with their schedule. Special arrangements may be made in confidence by emailing or calling Mara Suskauer, Executive Director, at the Temple office, 973-994-2290 extension 215.

Guest tickets: Tickets are available for relatives for a donation of $136 per ticket for all High Holy Day services and will be e-mailed with membership tickets. If you require guest tickets*, please complete this online form. Click here if you need a pdf to print and fill. 

*Should your relative be a member in good standing of another synagogue, please contact the office for details regarding complimentary tickets.

YIZKOR BOOK: One of our many traditions is to publish, in conjunction with our Yom Kippur Yizkor Service, a booklet honoring the memory of our deceased loved ones. The printed books will be available and used throughout the year at Yizkor services.

Please note, names are not automatically carried forward from year to year. Please submit the names of your loved ones at this link no later than August 10. If you need a pdf to print and fill, click here.

FOR THE KIDS:
The Family Service and Tot Family Service on Rosh Hashanah need reservations; click here. 

Reservations are needed for the drop-off child care on Saturday, September 16, and Monday, September 25. For children 3 years old (by Oct. 1, 2023) through pre-k.

Also on Saturday, September 16 & Monday, September 25, 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM, Play, Create, Learn. A learning experience for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Child drop-off program following the Family Services. Reservations Required.

FOR THE TEENS: 
Saturday, September 16, 11:45 AM - 12:45 PM Shofar-cuterie Boards. Join Morah Melissa and other teens for a discussion of why we eat certain foods on Rosh Hashanah and during the high holy days. Create your own shofar-cuterie board of holy day food to take home. Register here.

Monday, September 25, 11:30 AM - 12:45 PM At-ONE-Ment. Meet Morah Melissa at 11:30 AM as we walk to Spring Hill Assisted Living next to the synagogue to lead a short service, activity, and discussion for residents. Register here.

SENIOR TRANSPORTATION Should you require transportation to our High Holy Day Services, please contact the Temple Office by email or by phone, 973-994-2290.

ACCESSIBLE SEATING Please contact the Temple Office to reserve a seat.

ACCESSIBLE PARKING Pre-registration needed; state-issued permit required. Please contact the Temple Office to reserve a parking space.

HEARING IMPAIRED The Ross Sanctuary is equipped with an audio-assist system. Equipment is limited ― contact the Temple Office to reserve a headset.

USHERING Ushers assist in making services meaningful and pleasant for everyone. The first day of Rosh Hashanah, Kol Nidre, and Yom Kippur morning require a large team of ushers. Please give of your time and volunteer to usher at one of these services.
