The Great Swamp: Saved but Not Safe
Join us on the first night of Sukkot in the Sukkah where we will share a meal and hear from Sally Rubin, executive director of the Great Swamp Watershed Association. She will address the problems surrounding water conservation. Please wear warm clothing as night-time temperatures can be chilly.
A vegetarian/dairy dinner will be served. RSVP below.
Sally Rubin, Executive Director, Great Swamp Watershed Association
Sally Rubin, a retired attorney committed to improving the quality of life in New Jersey through civic activity, is the Executive Director of the Great Swamp Watershed Association, a non-profit organization that works to protect the entire 55-square mile watershed that surrounds the Great Swamp. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in psychology and holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. As a result of her tireless efforts for GSWA, Ms. Rubin received an Environmental Champions Award from the EPA in 2017.
COST: $25, $22 in advance
